Favorite Beach Reads

Nothing compliments Puerto Vallarta days on the beach or lazing by the pool better than a perfect beach read. We've complied some of our A Page in the Sun favorites that fit perfectly in your beach bag and pair nicely with sunblock and a margarita.

Gone Girl
The movie didn't do this engrossing page turner justice! By the end of the first chapter, we're sure that you won't be able to put down this totally addictive thriller about a mysterious marriage gone sideways.

One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories
If you have a short span of attention, this collection of witty short stories by B.J Novak (you'll remember him from The Office) will have you laughing out loud as he details his trails and traumas with social media, dating and the search for success.

Valley of the Dolls
Our old-school throwback pick, this tale of sex, drugs and New York City penned by Jaqueline Susann in the 1960's is the quintessential beach read. It's incredible that 50 years later, this book is just as juicy as when it was first published.

Gringos in Paradise
Barry Golson details his adventures building his dream home in Sayulita, Mexico. If you are an expat living in Banderas Bay, you'll be able to relate perfectly to Golson's adventures.
